This piece is an antique porcelain portrait miniature depicting a long-haired woman in profile. The artwork is based on a famous late 19th-century painting titled "Agesta" (sometimes stylized as Coquette or Solitude) by the celebrated Italian painter Angelo Asti. [1, 2, 3]
